LIFE SIGNS, A public installation.
Union Square Park, NYC, Sept. 8th—Nov. 15th, 2003

Ten aluminum signs depicting silhouettes of people engaged in simple intimate human interactions were installed throughout the park. Unlike most signs that issue warnings or deny access, these signs empower people to reclaim the public space (post 9/11) and to notice the signs of life all around them.
